Y am I unable to host?

Ok so me and my bud have been trying to play a PXO game for WEEKS now. I tried forwarding my ports, direct IP, but nothing works except for putting up a Stand Alone server, and I don't have another computer just sitting around. :sigh: The only thing I can think of doing is finding a way to somehow make a server, kinda like Minecraft, but I can't find any info on that.... If anyone's got any ideas tell me.

Oh and yeah I do have the patch I'm supposed to have... .-.

3.6.14 RC4 Freespace open .exe's
3.6.12 MediaVp's

Edit: Sorry, Missing little bit of info. He can't see my servers at all...

I have absolutely no idea why. I would suggest that you look over the multiplayer thread on HLP if you haven't already, or do it again: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=63609.0

If that doesn't help, see if anybody else has had your problem and fixed it yet. If that doesn't work, you could start a new thread over there. HLP gets far more eyes than Game Warden, and somebody else will be able to help much better than I can.

You would not be-leave how many times I've gone through that. Although I do appreciate it... the only games I've played, are the one that were on a Stand Alone server...
