The title is self explanatory, isn't it?

My favourite combat spacecraft are:

GTF Perseus
GTB Zeus
SB Seraphim

I'm not a big fan of popular designs like the GTF Erinyes, and I base my preferences on shape and textures (without considering combat effectiveness).

That said, i think that's farrrr to many choices. There won't be a clear winner because everyone will choose different ships.


My choices:

GTF Ares - Potato ship, but cool nonetheless with lots of missile space
GVB Sekhmet - Best bomber in the game.
SF Basilisk - I bet I'll be the only one to choose this one. I just think it looks cool.
 
Taurvi because:

As I worked a bit with Fred, I thought "Why don't fly with a shivan bomber?"
Then I took a look at the Taurvi. I can fly with that Shivan bomber very good. I also like it's style...

Hercules Mk I because:

Well, I also would vote the Valkyrie but the Herc I is just a little bit better than the Valkyrie from the style. If I can't get a Athena bomber I use the Herc I and if those two aren't avaible, then I'll take the Valkyrie.

Athena because:

The best fighter (and bomber) of FS1! It is fast and flexible and has a good looking. Attack a small convoi and take this bomber, then you will see how good the bomber matches the hostile fighters.

Agreed. It's startling how awful the GTVA bomber lineup is. While they can get something done with saturation attacks, they're effectively all expendable missile buses.
 
I like the Thoth.

It's fast, turns even faster and 4 firepoints, like a Herc.
The missile loadout is pathetic and it can't take too many hit, but I still like it. :)
 
As I thought, there are no clear winners.

In a way that's a good thing I guess, it means each ship gets equal love... lulz
 
Wow might as well change the topic to FS2 ships. Where are the options for ships from other mods and total conversions?
 
Dragon, HercII (even though it's slow and kinda crappy) and Myrm. Would also add the Perseus, but didn't have 4 votes. :)
