When I first heard about it earlier today, I was like, oh noez. but now I love the name. Go figure. How quickly things change in 20 minutes. hehe. ^_^

yeah, E3 is going to ROCK. I wonder what surprises Nintendo is cooking up!!
 
Didn't Nintendo do this with the N64 too?

When it came closer to the release, they changed the name. I think it was supposed to be named Reality in the first place.


Anyway, the Revolution will rock. I hope they'll work on Starfox title. And I hope Square will release some RPGs for it again.
 
Dont put too much hope for square on rev. they've been nursing a grudge ever since nintendo micromanaged them on Super Mario RPG. According to my source, (square's lead american Beta tester) they made FF:CC bad-but-pretty on purpose, because Nintendo offered them a fat wad if they made a game that made use of the Cube's graphics.
 
I think it's the big part of Square that belongs to Sony...

Just think about the multitude of Square games for the Playstation(s).
 
They're with Sony because they are still feeling their way with Microsoft, and Sony is the only alternitive.

I really find it funny with all the mocking that is going on. It's nearly crystal clear that they haven't released entirely what the name really means, and just before E3 as well.

I'm really thinking the Big N is gonna make alot of people look like idoits at E3.

Well, a name like 'Wii' is pretty uncommon. Makes the X-Box (pseudo-cool name) and the Playstation (old, functional name) looks pretty mainstream.


I think Nintendo wants to stand out with their new console. Calling games somewhting with 'wii' sounds not as good though.

What it means doesn't matter so much...it's still a Wii.
