Coder

The SCP coders took care of a lot many feature requests. Hoever, more dedicated coders for SoL would help us to get some things done right when we need them, as well as getting some really special features done, which might only be interesting for SoL at the moment.
Mostly minor features are needed, as well as some features for the LUA scripting.

OpenGL coder

You may have heared about the comming features of the engine already. They include normal mapping and pixel shader.
We'd like to make use of these new techniques asap. So we're looking for GLSL shader coder, writing shaders for effects and materials and maybe providing some infos for the artists, so they can write at least simple stuff on their own.
Joing the FS2 SCP team is not needed, neither is working on the engine itself, but it would be a plus.

Sound engineer

We're looking for a good audio engineer to rework some of our sound effects for our first release.
This doesn't involve music, but all kinds of sound effects, like lasers, hit sounds, but also some environment sounds.

Now I heard from DZ that you were looking for a few artists, I happen to be one, that and Strike suggested I sign up here and see what's happenin'. Did DZ talk with you about this yet?
 
I heard you were looking for concept artists. I can draw all kinds of vehicles you need. But I haven't quite figured out if you're looking for Starfox only ships.
 
I also heard you were looking for concept artists via DZ on StarFox-Online and Arwing Landing... and so here I am! ^_^

Did you guys get to see the pics I submitted on SF-O or AL, because I hadn't registered here til just now... there's about 5 of em.

No worries ! I'm recently working on a 3D spaceship model for your texture example request. Maybe you'll recieve it next week, I don't know, actually I'm really busy with schoolwork and the exams arrive very quickly ... ^^
 
There are a few free 3D modeling programs out there. There's Blender (quite powerful, but has a large learning curve), Wings3D (simple, though it lacks some advanced features), and also a free version of Maya (though its a little tricky to export).
 
thanks guys! i just dug up an old 3d landscape program, i should be with ya soon! ;)

edit: man...i used to primitive polygonal 2d like the stuff used to make the original star-fox. blenders hard, and wings is impossible with a trackball!

In the - Shadows of Lylat is looking for a texture artist! - thread (that you have posted in), is a test ship to texture. It is already UV mapped.

It contains a newer UV layout map, id colour map and an ambient occlusion map.

Three formats - Wavefront - Wings and Blender.

Mainly need a colour map. You could also do a shine and glow map. From the list you supplied they are Diffuse, Specular level and Self illumination
