Do you want to see your friend? or do you not? it's a simple as that. If you really did want to see her, you'd go regardless. I know it's harsh but that's the truth that's always worked for me.

well i say it's better to take the chance that she's there and go, rather than to take the chance that she's not there and wind up staying at home looking like a fool when it turns out she's NOT there. Either way you look like a fool, but you look like more of a fool if you don't go and she is there.
