Need advice - Fighter
« on: August 01, 2005, 06:49:18 PM »
Well, I'm trying to learn modelling.

I'm currently working on a fighter. Ok, you've proabably seen it already..., but I think it's better I continue this here as long as it's not finished.

This is the current state.

Looks a bit pain, but I'm out of ideas. Should I start texturing?

I would say to give the cockpit a little more shape and maybe give the engines a little too. Other than that it looks good to me.

Round the cocpit. Round the nose. Remove, or soften at least, the hard edges. And I think you'll have a winner.

I don't like the round engines, but I never have.  >.>

I would say like what Raa said about smoothing the edges, but since this is a stealth, and sharp edges reflect radar beams from coming back to the radar site, I would leave e'm. Now skin that thing. ;)

nah. new stealth would need to deflect infrared and mask their own EM signatures. Not use radar... ;)
