Now inorder to get some traffic coming though here before we officaly move the forums, I would like to ask these questions to you:

a) do you think that they have sractched the paint job?

b) do you think the scaring on this poor Levithan is correct for FS 1 blob weapons? (note that this ship was acting as a recon cruiser and had to jump into and out of fire from much larger ships)

c) how many of you think that we should not use high poly ships? (don't know why I am asking this)

you can't see it? If you want brighter I could find the really bright map background for HW 2, if you don't go blind then you should be able to make out the leviathan as the darker spot in frount of the light. Most of the light is cut out by the Leviathan as well so I don't know what your complaining about; at lest you haven't started about the need for high-poly ships yet.

I meant that I couldn't make out any detail on the Levi. I could see the outline of it just fine, you smartass.

And now that I look at it, it is pretty scarred.

a) Paint job damage? -after modifiying my gamma settings. Yes they have damaged the paint job, quite badly

b) Appropriate damage? -hmmm, perhaps, if it has been through what u say it has. [like being engaged by a destroyer/a coulple of cruisers].

c) Use Hi-poly models?- nah, i doubt anyone will be looking closely enough, and it will help lower end comps handle the mass amount of ships and effects alot better.
