elsewhere.

Do you mean SectorGame? I like SectorGame too, but I don't enjoy it as much as I enjoy GameWardening :ha:

yeah, I'll lurk around for a while, I want to finish this model and then focus on studying again :S

sectorgame never really touched me, I have a user and all but never felt to come by to see what was happening.

ps: I was just checking the model and you might want to watch on the docking part, it's got plenty of overlaped faces, I just noticed this and i'm trying to clean it up without messing the mesh.

Rodo, send cleaned version when you're done. I'll be glad to have it.

I agree with Rodo... way to many people watching and judging your models. To many for me anyhow.

As for other things in life, I'm trying to figure out how the heck Hammer (a Half-Life 2 map maker) works. It's slow, but I've seen someone play the first 30 minutes of HL2, and it looks like a real powerful program. :)

so I just made the dockpoint and now...

what I'm supposed to do?

should I start making the turret models on a different layer?

or I should UV map first the model and then start making the turrets?

I'm asking if there's a specific order to do stuff, or if I just can keep going.

Rodo i think that you should start a thread in Freespace 2 moding subforum.

don't worry I'll transfer my consult over there, I'll just post some updates from time to time.

I've just sent a modified mission to davidthom1. He's working on a trilogy of missions and I helped him out with the first mission. I tweaked it a bit and also added some stuff. :)

Seen lots of pretty girls in Torino :biggrin1: Best of all, though, was hiking to a summit at about 3100 meters, and having a stupendous view over the Valle d'Aosta, with the Matterhorn (Monte Cervino for the Italians, IIRC) and the Monte Rosa in the background.

Worst thing... Dunno, actually, it was all fun. But there were very low clouds at the source of the river Po. So, fog. But it wasn't cold, so not too bad :)

Cool.

Maybe I should go on holidays that involve more than taking a train to Glasgow with my parents. :doubtful:

There is a massive thunderstorm coming within 15 minutes or so. Listening to another song by Sum 41, and finally starting to understand importing stuff into Hammer. :)
