Well, we don't want to post the list, at least for now.
Maybe we have to remove some ships from the list later, due to technical problems, or some other reasons.

I.e. there are some undarmed ships on the list and we don't know how to handle them at the moment.


I can tell you which ships are beeing worked on right now though.
The LEXX and the Deathstar.

Oh and on a sidenote: I'm looking for a way to realize the Deathstar beam. Including the smaller beams that concentrate in one big beam.
I remember finding a solution for that problem, but I can't find it anymore...

You could make little lazer shots that act like them that  fire so fast that they look like a beam and their range is where they all touch, then the big beam fires.

Would it be possible to use a muzzleflash and a beam that hovers... But that would only work at one angle. Do we have 3d muzzleflashes?

No, we can't use 3d muzzleflashes (yet?).

Well, using a particle muzzleflash... interesting. I don't know if that works for beam weapons, but it would look odd unless you look at it in the right angle.

Well, that would work for capital ships with a bit FREDing/scripting work, but this is supposed to work for player fighters.

I meant that the player fired these lasers and the beam charges up and fires after a certain amount of time.

That would be chase cam.

At this point, I'm not sure how much scripting will be used.

LUA isn't completely functional for multiplayer.

Might be worth considering, but is the Eagle really the most popular fighter?
I think the Defender is the trademark fighter of Freelancer.
