There is something weird with the Pegasus Normal Map. It doesn't give the greatness of the Pegasus Model but instead, it spoiled a lot.

Remember this just a test, a proof of concept. Peg is the highest poly ship yet at 135k. Nothing here is remotely close to final. Of course we can always withhold all dev video till its 100% perfect, at which point constructive feed back would be solicited.

Well, I haven't seen the actual normal maps, but from the look in the video, I'd say they can probably be improved quite a bit.

Excellent work. My only thoughts from a visual perspective is that the star field was too dense. The other is a smoke trails of the weapons were too similar.  The whitish smoke is great for missiles, but does not do it for me with battlestar weapons.

i've tried that already, 3 times, didn't work. I think we have to wait, OR maybe  3 times isn't enough...i have to think about that;)

Placeholder animations for the most part.

First ships, then tabling and effects for them, then missions using them. The Battlestars are just now passing between first and second stage.

BTRL is really shaping up to become the coolest looking "Space Fighter" game ever made bar none.

ok, im alright...

see I can't really see much to improve on them, though I can't model or code, or anything, my photoshop and max skills don't extend into the 3d model world. I'm not even sure what to think of a high poly model after the extra work that could apparently go into them.
