Looks good, i just wonder if its quite black enough, i mean i always got the impression it was an light-leeching black, with little to no reflection.  Especially with the sorta rough texture of the composite materials they used to skin it

I think it's a problem I'm having with the game-the texture in max is quite crisp, and sometimes ingame it is, sometimes its not :S  I don't know quite what to say about it

*edit* for comparison, using the same .dds files.  spec doesnt work well in max obviously

That looks awesome. Can you try it ingame with no bump-map?

Ani filtering is set to 16x, and I've tried a few other ani levels.  I'm not sure what's up with it, I'll play with vid card settings, but I'm pretty sure AA at least is at like 6x.  Idk.  The thing is, sometimes the textures look clear in-game, sometimes not.  With no settings changed.

It doesnt look any better w/o bump maps-its like the texture is getting compressed by the engine or something.  weird.

Fixed it, new screenies incoming.

taaadaaaa

Gonna add a couple of textury doodads on the backend, its a bit plain yet.  Don't worry, they're in the reference.  Tidy up a few details and I'll call this one done.

Open up the launcher -> Features -> Game Speed and check you don't have Compress non compressed textures set.

If not post your command line here (it's in the greyed out box).

I'm pretty sure it was a vid card thing, it's working great now.  A bunch of settings were kind of low on the card itself, so i just jacked them all to max.  Thought they were already maxed, but eh.  Looks tons better now :D

(btw that box wasn't checked. must have just been the vid settings.)

looking great, allthough one crit is that you have put lauras name in the wrong place, it should be on the tip of the nose simmilar to how the primus logos are on the mk2 noses.

You know, he's right. How the hell did I miss that? Anyway, it's true, in the episodes "Laura" sign is on the tip of the nose.

Moved the Laura and fixed a few other little things that were bugging me.  And made it darker, per slayer's suggestion.
