spam? SPAM? S P A M!?

some one spamming!? you've destroyed the natural order of things!

*GW universe implodes, moderators form new forum, i get into that one and all is well*

see what you do when you spam? you destroy the GW universe! (aka the forum).

and then you get banned (twice), and then you go to HLP, in which you are banned again. then the admins here feel sympathy and give you a second chance. screw that one up and your screwed.

but that wont happen if you stop spamming.

taka out.

Not a bad idea actually, although maybe we should post it on the site to keep it secret! :naughty:

Ah well, My tip is, don't overdo the glide function. Yes it's handy, but a lot of the time all you are doing is travelling further away from your opponent, meaning less of your shots are hitting on target. It's much easier to follow them and turn in behind them. Turning quickly will bleed off speed due to change in direction, so it's your choice as to wether or not you fiddle the throttle, I do. Best range for accuracy is anywhere within 700 clicks, but of course the closer you are the better. Don't forget to play your bursts acress the targetting reticule to see where the sweet spot is for each hit. You can hit targets from 1500 clicks, but it's more of a lucky guess IMO. When firing, just shoot bursts or fire. Sustained fire makes it a little harder to stay on target as the gun's pull you off and shake the craft. Short sharp bursts are much easier to make sure your getting those rounds in where it counts.

while in a spin dogfight, slowly dwindle your speed to zero (or just stop) and switch on glide. your opponet usualy keep spinning, and you have EXCELLENT turn time and can land about 20 rounds on him/her in a minute.

Yeah....just be aware that energy management is still huge in the dogfighting in space as it is in atmosphere.....if it's anything but the 2 of you fighting, a thrid party can ruin the day of a stationary Raider or Viper that's just fliping end over end.  :devel:
