Maybe with the Mod's team logo, it would be nicer... just an idea...

Problem is, if we include our "own" logo in the game anyone can use it. As far as I know there is no way to allow only team members use a specific squadron image.

Who says we have to include it with the game though?

We simply keep the image aside and stick it in players\images once the game ships. That way everyone will eventually get it but only if they have actually played with us. Should greatly reduce the number of people who use it. Especially if we point out to the regulars that the badge is the squadron insignia of the devs.

I suspect we can expect at least the 58th to keep an eye out for anyone using that symbol inappropriately and have a word with them :D

Primus sounds good, maybe I too should live up to the legend then?

Dang, I need to stop playing Wii and start practising some flying.

Except I haven't seen you online recently. When are you going to join in Ajax? :p

By the way, guys, make sure to add DEV- in front of your names before we release :)
If you want your bugs fixed and features added, you gotta get us coders! See the help wanted thread if you want to help out!

heh, i will join when i get a decent pc again lol:(

on our main page we could add a new multiplayer section, with quad rankings and such posted there, and hold a monthly tournament, and weekly engagements. also a custom mission page for people to come up with there own mp senarios and send em to us and we host em. that way there arnt a million submods confusing people

FS2NetD will handle a fair bit of that for us. Our missions will be validated so that you can store stats by playing them. Any 3rd party missions won't be validated so although you can play them on FS2NetD they won't improve your overall pilot stats.

We can host 3rd party missions (whether validated or not) with ease and I like the idea of competitions and everything.

Bear in mind that with luck the Squadrons will be willing to handle a fair bit of that effort if we ask them. They seem like pretty industrious people :)

aye, i jsut like the idea of keeping the game tied closely with the comunity, we can always hold our tournies on the fs2net and post winners and such in a new section, help create some freindly competition as well.
