I would be totally honored if my design was used in BTRL, but I think you guys have enough to do, without adding more ships to the game :D

Poor punctuation and grammar make this thread very difficult to read. :p

Yes, like "nite", "thru" and "ass", or better still, "I'll write you" (missing the "to", just so we're clear  ).  I don't think Americans are in much of a position to complain about other peoples' spelling or grammar!:D

Thanks for the link Josh_88 and to the other site StarSlayer, those are some cool looking concepts. I can hardly wait to see BTRL as a finished product.

Unfortunately true in a lot of cases - I'm an American & I cringe everytime that I hear it. No wonder we're considered "Philistines", barbarians or whatnot...

Indifference to education & too much rap music is probably the root of it - Feel me, playah?:biggrin1:

When we have good grammar, we are certainly in a posistion to complain about other people's grammar.

Not that Taristin does. :nervous:
Yea verily, though I fly through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am piloting I house-sized mass of "**** you." (With apologies to Peptuck)

Whether it's the Scottish ned, English Chav or American rapper, they're all in the same language abusing "tribe"!

Non-canon ships sure would give us FREDers something fun to play with. I'd want some sort of frigate and a light carrier for sure. I'm sure StarSlayer has allready cooked something up.

Edit: He's got a "MKV" idea on here that I absolutely adore.

First design looks ok, but I think the designer went too far regarding small technical details. Cylon ships have this inherent organic flow, I would concentrate on that in the first place.

Second model, I dunno, seems like a big landing bay ... Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but I'm guessing some functionality was sacrificed in favor of artistic design.

Anyway, keep working on them :)
