i don't think that searching for something online is professional.

after all, did we not all find this forum through searching online?

anyhow, ICQ is a mix between email and aol instant messanger.

Dont justify laziness with half assed snips like that. Using google to find out what something means, or is, is the most basic thing you can do online. They teach you that crap in every computer course there is. If you cant be arsed to look up something, dont post a question asking about it. It actually takes more effort to make the post than to look up the information.
Not to mention more time, since you have to wait for responses.

mmmm. i haven't used icq in ages (back when i played quake1)... but if i recall correctly, you "chat" with people using messages that work very much like emails.

also when you sign off people can leave you messages still and you'll see them when you log on.

i think, unless they changed stuff. it should all be in the site.

the rules are fairly simple, just like a normal message board--nospamming, no obscene swearing, play nice.

*shakes a stick at karajorma's FAQ*

*watches as stick wobbles too much and snaps in half*

Hmm.  You're right. :)
