I never got my verification email...
« on: February 16, 2006, 04:04:54 AM »
I registered for an account on Sunday (or around there) and I haven't gotten the verification e-mail yet.

I resent it several times and it never arrived to me. Not even into my Spambox.

Any ideas? Did I make a typo? Thanks.

It bounced back from your ISP as spam.  The easiest thing is just to use a free email account (yahoo, hotmail, etc) to get the e-mail with something that lets you preview spam messages.  If that's not an option let me know and I'll go in and dig up the bounced e-mail to give you the activation link.

Okay, so my mail provider (not my ISP, my webhost) blocks this as spam but these "Your Business has been chosen for special credit" from odd addresses get through..... That's GREAT filtering.....

My next choice would be: dzcompozer[don'tsp@mthisoneto]gmail.com (replace what's in the brackets with @)

I seem to have the same problem. I can't have it send the activation key to another email because I've already registered the username Haxxy to my current email account. If it's not too much trouble, do you think you could dig up the email, wherever it went? Like I said, the username is Haxxy, and the email i used is dart122391[lolkpwntnosp@m]comcast.net. (Remove the brackets, as you know)

I don't get my e-mail too :(.

I played Freespace 2 very often on PXO. Now i would really love it to play the FS2 Open online.

I tried 2 different e-mail accounts and both didn't work. The Spam-returning-tool is off on my adresses. My Pilot-Name is "Mjoellnir".

Could you help me too? :cool1:

Well, now that I actually have a chance to dig up all of those bounced mails, the server off-line. :p

I'll try to take care of all of the missing mails once the server comes back up (it's totally off the net, not sure what's going on), unless MatthewPapa gets everyone situated before I do.

Multiplayer is a good way to shakedown a mod. The only problem is if newbies start coming to FS2NetD and only finding BSG and Starfox mod tests running :D

Would be nice if you could email them to me, too, Taylor :) . Pilot name is "Mav", just as the forum account.  (or is this obsolete with the new PXO ? :confused1 )
I used the re-send link several times and also turned off my spam-filters (which anyway should only move the mails to a different folder, not delete them) for a day and still didn't get the activation mail. Seems there is something else blocking it... :(
Location: Shivan Fleet, Interstellar Space... now you\'d like to know between WHICH stellar systems, wouldn\'t you? :ha: ;) :devel:
