the freespaceserver and hurricane Rita

Hi all,

If you havent heard already, a category 5 hurricane is headed right for houston. Since houston is the freespaceserver's place of residence (as well as mine) I cannot guarantee the uptime of the server over the next couple of days. If you have any stuff important on the freespaceserver I highly recommend you back it up now because power may very well be out here for the next couple of days/weeks. This will affect all personal FTP accounts with the hostname prefix freespaceserver as well as FS2netD. Now lets hope this thing doesnt do too much damage....... Thanks, that is all.

Good to hear you made it out MP.  May your "vacation" be as pleasant as possible while you are away from home.  Lets pray you have a safe return to Houston also, and that you find everything in order when you do.:)

Good luck, bro. Remember, don't be stupid: if you have to leave, get the hell out as quick as you can. The freespaceserver can be replaced: you can't. Stay tough for all us. ;)

Couldn't say it any better.

It's good to hear you're safe now. :)

Looks like this hurricane won't cause as much damage as the last one, so I hope you won't have to worry about your home.

A bit random. In an old dead topic too...
