I'm guessing that the BSG they are basing this off of is the 1970's version? The copywrite in the credits says 1999.

I found it interesting how this one used the opening music on the movie "the rock". And since when did Star Destroyers have missle batteries? lol.

I saw a few things in here that didnt make any sence, they destroy the Executioner, but I thought they were killing a victory class star destroyer? And then at the end where vader sees them get away, Vaders command ship (executioner) is now alive again? Dont get me wrong, its a good clip.

OK OK my turn!!!!

Move the goalposts often?  The topic turned to EMP, then how you can't have EMP without nucs, which is incorrect. Care to rejoin the actual thread, or would you like a new one where the topic is only nucs?

Since when was the topic about EMP's, they labeled it emp because I brought up EMP caused by the nukes. You need to read the thread it was brought off of before posting irrelevant stuff, and then telling me, who started the subject, that its not about nukes. So when ONE person brings up the event where Apollo minipultes the collonial ones hyperdrives, the subject on nukes is automaticly altered into emp bombs and blasts because of one off topic post? Is that what your saying?

I did. Just for you!  You actually are using THAT :eek2: as your basis?!?!

At face value that paragraph is correct for the specific circumstances and assumptions given/implied.  But it says absolutely nothing about a weaponized, field-generated, EMP.  Don't make generalized sweeping assumptions you knowledge can't cash.  :p

we wernt talking about EMP bombs you idiot, were talking about nukes.

I had never played BtRL when I said I thought dumbfire would be really fun to have. Given the 200 m/s top speed on the mk 7, it would be hard to use anyways. And I have already given you more then 5 reasons it shouldn't be included, two of which being, IT WASN'T IN THE SHOW, and secondly, EMP blasts in space will not happen to the degree that it will actually affect your ship. Look it up on wikipedia if you dont believe me.

And another thing, you obviously are not reading any of my posts throughly.

I too don't care what they have to say either anymore, they aren't even interested in this game anymore. So why should I constantly bring up their feelings on the situation? I shouldn't. I am currently the only one who still plays FS2 from that community with the exception of Kuras (who everybody hates anyways). The people I talk about who I get their opinions from to support me are people like Turey. People who have been in the community for only a year or so, but have been playing FS2 single ever since it came out. So if you could stop bringing up stupid fucking things like the dumbfire i suggested when I didn't even have a chance to check it out, I would really fucking appreciate it... thanks.

Your joking right? Alienware over prices their stuff by a shitload, because they know people will buy it because of their name. I made a really good PC at Alienware and one at Cyberpowerpc to compare the prices of their machines. But, heres a tip for you guys, Cyberpowerpc does NOT use mass produced - cheaply made parts for a mass number of people like alienware does. Cyberpowerpc buys the same parts you buy from newegg straight from the factory, so your not paying a fortune because they are buying them at the same price the wholesalers are. Heres the two computers I made :

If you notice, Cyberpower has the new Quad FX Platform FX-74 CPU, the newest chip on the fucking market, alienware is giving you an outdated chip that was put on the market almost a year ago. Cyberpower offers a ton more free and six-dollar discounted products that I didnt even include, I also didn't add the unnessessary addons to the alienware, like neon and other flashy things like I did to the cyber power that add another $1000+ to the alienware. Also, cyberpower automaticly offers a 3 year warrenty, standard, while with alienware, you have to pay even for a 1 year warrenty. So, do you really think alienware is giving you a bargain? Or a fucking royal ripoff?

Another thing about Alienware, my friend ordered a $5000 Alienware, and they didn't even put the liquid cooling systems in that he ordered, instead, he got this giant block of aluminum glued to his chip with a really really loud case fan on the back of computer, and they didnt even do anything with the video card cooling, its stock.

I also did a bit of research comparing the new FX-74 vs the Core 2 Extreme X6800, and the AMD chip was only SLIGHTY slower, but, the Intel chip costs a shitload more. So in reality, the Intel really isnt worth the extra $300-400.

So for those of you now convinced to get a Cyberpowerpc, heres the link :

I'm taking a break from this shit. If any of you need to talk to me, send me a message on msn or icq and I'll message you when I'm home. I am already super stressed out over a bunch of shit in my life right now, I dont need anything adding to it.

All I said was that he is constantly telling me that he doesnt give a damn about multi when I try to tell him what other people that I know opinions are as well as mine about posible addons that the fans, who have never played FS2 and found the annoyance of some features, are suggesting. For example, EMP on nukes. EVERYONE I ever talk to, not JUST the people I play with on multi, HATE EMP blasts. But he just blows me off and says basicly that he couldn't care less about what people think.I will admit, I get really mad when he basicly says he doesn't give a fuck what I think about anything and trys to say my opinions and thoughts are only based on the old pxo fs2 community, which is absolute bullshit.  But for real, I thought this game was for the fans, not just the btrl crew.

EDIT :

You obviously haven't been listening carefully. I don't give a flying fuck about the classic multi community. They're a bunch of ingrates whose pissing and moaning about FS2_Open is largely responsible for the complete mess multi is in at the moment. They can all take a running jump for all I care.

I do care very much about BtRL multi and about anyone wanting to play on FS2_Open.

Thanks for proving my point.

You guys need to stop promoting those POS bugged intel core duos. My friend got one a week or two ago, and the first thing he did before even going on the internet or doing anything was install his high-graphic games. He tried to play counter-strike source, and it crashed constantly, giving him blue screens every 10 minutes. A week later he took it to this computer shop that repairs my computer when it is ROYALLY screwed over, and they found nothing wrong with it other then the fact he had a core duo. The same people customize computers for people, and they really discourage opting for that chip because of its serious problems.

If your going to get a multi-core processor, wait for AMD to release their quad-core, the prices on their dual core will go down a bit.
