Best advice I can give you is try to find something you're reasonably comfortable with and stick with it. Learning the interface is half the battle and switching applications is twice as hard (as I did when I went from TS to Max).

Your models look pretty good but it's too early to really extract anything from them. Keep at it though!

My bro thinks it may be the graphics card which isn't so bad as it's horrinly out-of-date but I'm super skint (due to changing jobs) at the moment =(

Suffice to say everything is on hold but not dead.
I've had a good idea for a Fighter too but I've nothing to run MAX on :doubtful:

That was kinda explained in StarFox64/Lylat Wars but mid-90s Nintendo games were notorious for breaking/missing continuity.

what proggys are you using ? If you're using Photoshop (for example) there are loads om the net.

Try general art/rendering sites like 3d palace, 3d cafe etc.

I may bin mission4. I've been reading the FRED contest thread (the VWBB articles specifically) and it breaks a few rules.

Nothing! Was quite happy playing the Raptors missions in the Retail Campaign, wasting the NTF fleet, shut down the PC to see my little niece, went back about an hour later and the comp can't get past the windows loading screen without re-rebooting.

My bro is a techie guy so hoefully he'll take a look tomorrow. In the mean time I'm shoving aload of important stuff to CD in Safe mode. Should haved one that ages ago anyway.

Just hope it isn't a hardware issue as I can't afford a new rig.

Using editable poly in face select mode, select you're faces than Detach. I don't know how this would need to be modified to fit into POF requirements though.

Nope. Infact if you use NURMS mesh smooth for the Very/Ultra-High-Poly-Stuff you want to avoid putting in triangles otherwise it produces a nasty "pinched" effect. Nothing worse than finding a bloody triangle that you just can't get shot of. ;)

I don't know about exporting though. I don't know much about exporting so I was never able to figure out the errors I was getting with Max->Pof  :doubtful:
