Tmp2 / Daybreak part 2 SPOILERS
« on: March 22, 2009, 03:38:32 PM »
Even if theres only one person working on it theres still some decent fan banter on here.

Also i got Gina confused, I meant Shelly Godfrey. Thats always annoyed me as well as who was caprica meeting in the miniseries.

Who knows could make for an interesting Star Trek of Stargate episode.....

But they have all since ended.........

All my fav sci-fi shows gone!!!!!!

Sci-Fi is now dead

*pulls a cavil*

Frak it.

Apart from Stargate universe coming out which i have little hope for, whats actually on anymore worth watching.

Well that was heartbreaking, amazing episode but just heartbreaking to see it all end.

I'm actually sitting here depressed now because of it.

The battle scenes were absolutely amazing but i was annoyed that the whole FTL distortion thing got ignored when the assult force jumped out the starboard landing and then when galactica jumped away, still was pretty amazing. and i was left open mouthed with awe at the centurians and marines fighting side by side.

I also liked the shots of the fleet arriving at new earth but i was kinda confused at it considering they found one that seemed to have the same continents.

The Adama/Roslin scenes were beautifully touching as well as the Kara/Anders moment where she said goodbye.

Good ending as well with heads Baltar and Six in New york and Hendrix on the radio (does this make Hendrix/Bob Dylan a cylon now) lol.

Questions that are unanswered...

Where did the second Starbuck come from and who is she really?

Explinations about Heads Baltar and Six?

And what the hell ever happened to that Gina cylon from season one, that annoys me to this day?

Why were the Flashbacks there?

I suppose you could put the first three down to angelic intervention but yeah.

Still all round amazing episode and cant wait for the longer cut on the DVD's.

Beyond the red line is a mod of another game called freespace.

At the moment Beyond the red line is not complete and so far only have the demo which allows you to fly vipers and raiders.

When the mod is finished it should include Pegasus, Galactica, Valkyrie, and all other ships like raptors and heavy raiders and i think the Blackbird.

Hope that helps

thats a pretty good theory actually.

also keeps coming in my head that this "sean alison" is the drunk driver. .

i also wanna know more about whats going on with lee, zak and starbuck, and more about whats going on with adama. you could say that it's the valkyrie mission but i dont think so.

also, anyone else notice starbucks new practice of dual pistols all the time lol.

does anyone actually have any idea what the flashbacks were about, i know theres a lot of extra padding on these episodes when the dvd's released but really. usually theirs a rough explination but it really brought nothing new to the episode other than roslin had sisters.

also dogstar me thinks your nukes are on their way next week

I'm still waiting for Windows 7 to debut before I build an i7 quadcore DDR3 with a 1 GB 280 GTX on an SFF board in a LAN Party SFF (Small Form Factor - Micro ATX) box with the handle on top. Currently I am still using a Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM dual SATA 500 GB on the same box I listed above with a 8800 GT 512 MB vid card. Love my HP w2207 LCD. Going with a w2508 on my next build though.

IMO thats a pretty nice computer you;ve got already and if you put some more ram and your 280 in you'd save a bit of money and it wouldn't be that far back in performance, maybe ever spend the money saved on a 285 or a processer upgrade?

my old desktop was an old pentium 4 at 2.8 ghz with a 478 socket, 1.5 GB DDR ram and a 512MB ati 2600 HD pro running on AGP with never EVER worked correctly, i just scrapped it last month however.

i had 2 laptops one of which was an acer with 1GB DDR2 ram and 2.00 ghz AMD single core processer but it decided that the fabric of reality was no longer enough to hold it together and then it fell apart with no mistreatment of my own.

my current laptop is my only computer atm with a 2.3 ghz core 2 due, 3GB ram and an intel graphics accelerator,

i'm in the process of building a new computer which is downstairs and you can read about in my sig.

i'm aiming for 2.66GHZ intel i7 nehalem,
4GB DDR3 ram
and tri sli running gtx 285's,

Her names Icarus

i'm not looking forward to next weeks episode, sure it's gonna be amazing but once it's over thats it, no more galactica. it's not like we're waiting for the next season or the end of a break but thats it, over.

sure theirs the plan and caprica but really it's not gonna be the same and i'm gonna be really gutted after it's over, i mean what can we watch, Stargates gone, Star trek's gone, now battlestar. theirs nothing on sci fi any more.

well if you watch the video you see the drives are outside the case

but the drives alone cost about 28504 if you bought them from my local pc shop, and it's a dual processer board that has to high end quads in it, along with some nice ram and a decent graphics card for crysis, 22k?

rediculas yes
intresting also yes
