What about a standard wing tag for our pilot names?

I notice that BtRL doesn't accept anything but an alphabet letter for the first character of a pilot name, so anything like 58-, [58], -58-, etc that you might think of using is out.

For the moment I've set up as AW58-Backlash, (for 'Air Wing 58').

I agree that a standard tag such as backlash's "AW58" would make it easier to identify fellow squad members and find each other easier.

done and done. And I noticed the communication thread. Have we decided on a form of voice communication. From personal experience, Ventrilo is an excellent program. Don't know about the others.

Guys, how about VAW58 for a prefix?

A general rule of thumb, as stated about servers... if you are hosting for the 58th, like I sometimes do... look for a 58th White Knights Insert Server Name here

That's how I tag my servers, and I'm generally chatting, so a sound off works just as well.

V for Viper. Afterall, we are the 58th Viper Air Wing, despite what the banner in the top left corner says...someone should really change that...

We're the 58th Viper Air Wing last I checked. The only reason to assume it's "airgroup" is because of the banner in the top left corner of the forum, which as I've already stated needs to be changed due to the errors.
